Conference Interpreting
Our Conference Interpreting Background
Trans-Lang has been serving clients in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and the northern border states of Mexico for over 10 years. We have done conference interpreting of all sizes for clients in private industry, local, state and federal government. Whether you need one conference interpreter for 10 people or a staff of interpreters for 1,000 people, we have the logistical capability and technical equipment necessary to professionally handle any size event.
All of our conference interpreters are highly qualified with years of industry experience and certified by government and private associations such as the FCICE (Federal Court Interpreter Certification Examination), the California Courts (Court Interpreters Program), the AIIC (International Association of Conference Interpreters), ATA (American Translators Association) and ITI (Institute of Translation and Interpreting), among others.
Conference Interpreting Equipment
When choosing your partner to interpret at an event, make sure they have the proper equipment and trained specialists to carry out your project from beginning to end. Trans-Lang has invested years and thousands of dollars in procuring the equipment that makes us a one stop provider of interpreting for a conference, seminar, convention, and virtually any event where live interpreting is needed. We carry headsets, receivers, microphones (wired and wireless), interpreter booths, portable transmitters, PA systems, and video projection equipment that are professionally set-up and checked on-site by our trained staff.
Types of Venues
We interpret everything from depositions with 3 or 4 people, to conferences, conventions and seminars of all sizes. Whether one attendee or speaker needs interpreting, or hundreds of attendees and/or dozens of speakers require interpreting into multiple languages, we are uniquely qualified to handle your project needs. If your project requires multiple language needs, we can provide conference interpreters specifically qualified in over 30 languages. We also have in-staff technicians to ensure all the specialized interpreting equipment is set up and working properly. One of our more notable events included the Border Governor’s Global Climate Summit in 2010 which was chaired by Governor Schwarzenegger and attended by the Governors of western U.S. states, other subnational leaders from the U.S. and around the world along with hundreds of attendees from private and public companies such as Chevron, BMW and Southern California Edison.

Use our contact form to get in touch with one of project managers, call us at 619-233-7547 or EMAIL US. We will be glad to discuss the specifics of your event needs in order to provide your attendees and speakers with the language service they deserve from experienced professionals you can trust. We look forward to hearing from you!
